為了能讓芊宇自然而然學語言，平常能跟宇宇說英文的，

馬麻就儘量用我的破英文跟她講，其實有時我也不曉得這樣的用法到底對不對。

像跌倒，馬麻常常跟宇宇說”要小心，不要跌倒了”、“不要這樣爬，妳等一下會跌倒”

對於跌倒這個辭，常用到，but我就搞不清楚怎麼用。

今天上網的時候突然想到，稍為查了一下，找到以下的解釋，還挺清楚的。

fall down，fall off和fall over都表示“摔倒、跌倒”的意思，但它們各自的含義不同。

fall over強調的是“向前摔倒、跌倒”。

She fell over and broke her leg. 她跌倒並把腿摔斷了。

There is too much snow on the ground. If you ride much too fast，you will fall over.  地上的雪太多，如果你騎得太快的話，你會摔跤的。

fall down強調的是“滑倒、倒下”，後接賓語時應加上介詞from。

The book fell down from the table to the floor. （The book fell off the 

table to the floor.）

書從桌上掉落在地板上。

Babies often fall down when they are learning to walk.  

小孩學走路時常會跌倒。

fall off強調的是“跌落、從……掉下來”，後直接接賓語。

 The girl is falling off the bike. （= The girl is falling down from the 

 bike.）女孩從自行車上摔下來。

 They spread a big net in case Tom should fall off the tree and get hurt.

 他們張開一張大網以防湯姆從樹上掉下來受傷。

不過........好笑了，"要小心，不要跌倒了"這句話，沒用到上面的任何詞，

"要小心，不要跌倒了"其實用 "Watch your step"就行了，哈！英文真是有趣！
